A change in elevation

Ground level gives you one version of a place. A few hundred feet up, the same terrain reorganizes itself — and more often than not the sky becomes the subject rather than the backdrop.

This set follows weather and light rather than geography: cumulus stacking up on a summer afternoon, sunbeams cutting across open ground, then the slow shift through dusk into streetlights and the last band of color on the horizon.
